The story behind German Hearing Aid developed in India

The man, when  Piyush Kumar Jain joined hear-com, the fastest-growing hearing aid company in the world, he didn’t any clue  that this decision would change his life forever… Here is his  valuable story:

In 2017, hear.com’s founder, Dr. Marco Vietor, introduced Piyush Jain to the latest German hearing aid technology: The Signia Px. The top engineers from Signia (formerly Siemens) had spent years of research and development coming up with a device that has the most advanced technology in a design so small, it disappeared completely behind or inside the ear!

When Dr. Vietor asked Piyush Jain to bring this technology to the Indian market, Piyush was hesitant at first: He knew that his own mother had a hearing loss but did not want to wear hearing aids, because she thought that they were too big, looked ugly and would make her look too old.

To see if the brand Signia was as good as Dr. Vietor claims, Piyush asked his mother to try one of their devices for her ear problems: the Silk Px. Not only did she experience immediate improvements, but she also noticed that nobody could tell she was wearing them at all!

 

“These hearing aids not only changed my mother’s entire life, but my  family’s life, too!” says Piyush Jain.
“Every family gathering, every moment watching TV, every conversation, interaction with others  became so easy. From the moment she started wearing the devices, my whole family became more enjoyed! While in the first few days, she faced a bit of discomfort towards the device, she gradually got used into it. After just 2-3 weeks, she didn’t want to take off her hearing aids anymore. And the best part of it : nobody can tell that she is wearing them!”

“When I realized how difficult it was to convince or realize  my mom to hold hearing aids and how much of a positive results they would have on her life, I not only accepted Marco’s offer, but I also decided to make it hear.com’s mission that every mom in India  can wear hearing aids to overcome their ear difficulties.”

 

Since then, hear.com has been taking India by whirlpool. They’ve invested millions in awareness program, education, various research and development to give people in every city the possibility of trying the latest hearing aid technology in the available market.

 

In just a few months, grew from 100 to over 500 partner clinics all over the country. This means that Signia’s Px devices are now available to try anywhere in India, either cities or villages.
